Ethical oversight

When describing experiences involving human subjects, authors must specify whether the procedures followed ethical standards of an institutional or regional committee for human experimentation, in accordance with the World Medical Association and the Declaration of Helsinki.

In addition, authors must include the model of the informed consent used for the study as supplementary material, whether for experiments involving human subjects, handling confidential data, or studies on vulnerable populations.
