Single leg vertical jump tests
Abstract
Hop tests are frequently used as a method of functional evaluation in athletes with lower limb injuries. Currently, in addition to conventional hop tests, it is proposed to incorporate vertical hop tests. They can be evaluated through laboratory tests (force platform) or field tests (smartphone application or clinical evaluation).
The goal of this step-by-step is to describe two simple, reliable, low-cost field tests that can be used in clinical practice in conjunction with other tests to help physiotherapists design a rehabilitation program or treatment progression.
